| Dr. Maoke Chen
Education:
Dr. Maoke Chen got his doctoral degree at Tsinghua University in July 2004. His major was Information and Communication Engineering. When he was a graduate student, he did his research activities in the area of internetworking, esp. in modeling overlay-network interactions. Dr. Chen also holds degrees of M.Sc and B.Sc of Tsinghua University.
Research:
In August 2004, Dr. Chen joined the Network Research Center of Tsinghua University, as an Assistant Researcher/Lecturer. His current research activities are focused on the architecture of addressing, monitoring and indexing services for planetary computation environment. He is the chief technical coordinator of PlanetLab deployment in China Education and Research Network (CERNET). He also keeps on studying and promoting IPv6 deployment in China . Such effort has been started since 1998, when he ran the earliest IPv6-enabled computers in the China Mainland.
